1. Joe's Kansas City Bar-B-Que
The original Joe's Kansas City Bar-B-Que has been making some of the world's best BBQ inside a gas station in Kansas City, Kansas since 1996. Joe's has received praise by many masters in the BBQ industry—not to mention a handful of awards and a continuous line that goes out the door to the building's corner at peak hours. Main Dish and Side A crowd favorite, and ours, too, is the Z-Man Sandwich (sliced smoke brisket, smoked provolone cheese, a couple of onion rings, pickles, and a bit of barbecue sauce, all on top of a kaiser roll). Add French Fries, Best in Kansas City by popular vote, and thank us later.

Spiced Onion Straws with BBQ aioli (warning: addictive) is a great share-able for the table.

Main Dish and Side
The Burnt Ends are packed with flavor and sell out fast. When they do, the Pork Ribs are an exceptional alternative. For the side we give a nod to the creamy, cheesy, home-style Baked Potato Casserole.
